- Suburbs where lessons are offered (optional)

- Experience (optional)
- Hourly rate
1.3 Certifications (Teachers)
To support trust and safety on the platform, we collect and review teacher certifications, including:
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- AUSTSWIM Teacher Licence (or equivalent)
- Certificate of Insurance (optional, if retained)
We also store certification status (provided or not), completion date, and expiry date. If verified by admin, a badge may be displayed on the teacher’s public profile to indicate qualifications.
Important: While we review certifications, it is not our responsibility to ensure certifications remain current. Teachers are responsible for maintaining valid and up-to-date qualifications.
1.4 Ratings and Feedback
- Swimmers and teachers may rate each other from 1 to 5 stars
- Users may select feedback words
- Feedback words are not publicly displayed and are only accessible by admin (charlieswim.com)
2. How We Use Your Information

- Connect swimmers with teachers
- Display relevant profile information
- Verify teacher qualifications
- Improve platform safety and trust

- Analyse and improve our services

4. Independent Contractors
Teachers listed on charlieswim.com operate as independent contractors, not employees of Splash Smart. Splash Smart:
- Does not employ teachers
- Is not responsible for services provided by teachers
- Does not guarantee the accuracy or ongoing validity of certifications

We retain personal information for up to 7 years to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. However, no system is completely secure.
