Welcome to Charlie Swim. By creating an account you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and using Charlie Swim, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or have parental consent if younger) and that you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Privacy Policy
We collect and process the personal data you provide (name, email address, account type) solely for the purpose of operating the platform. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Your data is stored securely and will be deleted upon account closure upon request.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
- You must provide accurate, up-to-date information when registering.
- You must not share your account with others or use another person's account.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Usage Rules
- Charlie Swim may only be used for its intended purpose — connecting swim teachers with their swimmers.
- You must not use the platform to share offensive, harmful, or unlawful content.
- Automated access, scraping, or reverse-engineering of the platform is strictly prohibited.
- Any misuse may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
5. Community Guidelines
- Treat all other users with respect and consideration.
- Do not harass, bully, or intimidate other users.
- Report any content or behaviour that violates these guidelines using the in-app reporting tools.
5a. Messaging
The SplashSmart instant messaging feature is provided exclusively to enable professional communication between swimmers and teachers regarding lesson scheduling, progress, and related matters.
- All messages must be respectful, relevant, and appropriate for a professional coaching context.
- The use of derogatory, hateful, discriminatory, or threatening language in messages is strictly prohibited.
- Messages containing blacklisted language are automatically detected. Sending such a message will result in the immediate temporary suspension of the offending account, which will be flagged for review by a Super Admin.
- Following review, a Super Admin may choose to extend or make the suspension permanent (ban), or lift it entirely if the flag was raised in error.
- Accounts that are permanently banned will lose all access to the SplashSmart platform.

6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and software on Charlie Swim is the property of Charlie Swim and may not be reproduced or redistributed without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Charlie Swim is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charlie Swim is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
